Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pencegahan bullying melalui pembinaan karakter di SMA Islam Cikal Harapan 2. Sub fokus pada penelitian ini meliputi pembinaan karakter dalam menanamkan moral, memperkuat rasa solidaritas, serta menyediakan ruang refleksi dalam pencegahan bullying. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi kepala sekolah, wakil kesiswaan, pembina Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS), penanggung jawab Respect, Observance, Outreach, Togetherness, and Support (ROOTS) , serta 1 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Pembinaan karakter di SMA Islam Cikal Harapan 2 berperan penting dalam pencegahan bullying melalui tiga aspek utama, yaitu menanamkan moral, memperkuat rasa solidaritas, dan menyediakan ruang refleksi. Pertama, penanaman moral dilakukan melalui kegiatan seperti muhadarah, shalat dhuha, dan program keagamaan lainnya, yang membantu siswa memahami nilai-nilai moral untuk membangun sikap saling menghormati dan mencegah bullying. Kedua, penguatan solidaritas diwujudkan melalui kegiatan bersama seperti Smakala Competition, Jumat Bersih, dan aktivitas berbasis kebersamaan lainnya, yang meningkatkan rasa persaudaraan dan kepedulian antar siswa. Ketiga, penyediaan ruang refleksi memungkinkan siswa untuk mengevaluasi diri dan memahami konsekuensi dari tindakan mereka. Secara keseluruhan, pembinaan karakter di SMA Islam Cikal Harapan 2 terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan kondusif, serta memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam upaya pencegahan bullying di sekolah ***** This study aims to describe bullying prevention through character development activities at SMA Islam Cikal Harapan 2. The sub-focus of this research includes character development activities in instilling morals, strengthening solidarity, and providing space for reflection in bullying prevention. This research employs a qualitative approach and a descriptive method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and document studies. The informants in this study consist of the principal, the student affairs vice principal, the supervisor of the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS), the person in charge of Respect, Observance, Outreach, Togetherness, and Support (ROOTS), and one student. The findings indicate that character development at SMA Islam Cikal Harapan 2 plays a crucial role in bullying prevention through three main aspects. First, moral inculcation is carried out through activities such as muhadarah, dhuha prayer, and other religious programs, helping students internalize moral values that foster mutual respect and prevent bullying. Second, solidarity reinforcement is implemented through communal activities such as the Smakala Competition, Clean Friday, and other team-based initiatives that enhance a sense of camaraderie and concern among students. Third, providing reflection spaces allows students to evaluate themselves and understand the consequences of their actions. Overall, character development at SMA Islam Cikal Harapan 2 has proven effective in creating a safe and supportive environment while significantly contributing to bullying prevention efforts at the school.
