Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh work overload, information technology use, employee readiness to change dan job satisfaction terhadap adaptive performance pada ASN Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) baik secara langsung ataupun melalui mediasi variabel job satisfaction, sehingga menemukan kerangka konseptual dan empirik adaptive performance di BPS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang dilakukan terhadap ASN BPS. Hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) yang memakai software AMOS 24. Pengujian hipotesis ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data empirik yang diperoleh dari hasil jawaban kuesioner dari 510 pegawai dengan jumlah populasi 3.029 orang di BPS kabupaten/kota di seluruh Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan probability sampling dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Sampel pegawai dengan kriteria ASN BPS kabupaten/kota seluruh Indonesia dengan Jabatan Fungsional Tertentu, yaitu Fungsional Muda (Statistisi dan Pranata Komputer) yang bertugas sebagai Ketua Tim. Hasil uji kesesuaian model struktural menunjukkan model struktural dapat diterima. Hasil penelitian ini menambah keterbatasan literature dan memberikan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh work overload, information technology use, employee readiness to change terhadap adaptive performance baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi variabel lain yaitu job satisfaction. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan novelty adanya pengaruh positif signifikan pada variabel information technology use, employee readiness to change dan job satisfaction terhadap adaptive performance, serta pengaruh negatif signifikan variabel work overload terhadap adaptive performance. ***** This study was conducted to analyze the effect of work overload, information technology use, employee readiness to change and job satisfaction on adaptive performance in government employee at Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS-Statistics Indonesia) either directly or through the mediation of job satisfaction variables, so as to find a conceptual and empirical framework for adaptive performance in BPS. This study is a quantitative descriptive study conducted on government employee of BPS. The research hypothesis was tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS 24 software. This hypothesis testing was carried out using empirical data obtained from the results of questionnaire answers from 510 employees with a population of 3,029 people at BPS regency/city offices throughout Indonesia. The sampling technique in this study used probability sampling with proportional random sampling technique. Samples of employees with the criteria of government employee of BPS regency/city throughout Indonesia with Certain Functional Positions, namely Junior Functional (Statistician and Computer Administrator) who served as Team Leader. The results of the structural model suitability test showed that the structural model was acceptable. The results of this study add to the limitations of the literature and provide empirical evidence regarding the influence of work overload, information technology use, employee readiness to change on adaptive performance both directly and through the mediation of other variables, namely job satisfaction. From the results of this study, it was found that there was a novelty of a significant positive effect on the variables of information technology use, employee readiness to change and job satisfaction on adaptive performance, as well as a significant negative effect of the work overload variable on adaptive performance.
