Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian kelas ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi melalui pendekatan matematika realistik pada peserta didik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cilandak Timur 01 Pagi Jakarta Selatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, model siklus Kemmis dan Taggart melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan rekfleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cilandak Timur 01 Pagi Jakarta Selatan tahun ajaran 2019/2020 berlangsung selama 2 siklus. Analisis data pada penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif (kualitatif) dan data angka (kuantitatif). Hasil yang diperoleh dari tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, yaitu siklus I 41,9% dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 87,1%. Maka dari itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pendekatan matematika realistik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cilandak Timur 01 Jakarta Selatan. The purpose of this classroom action research is to know improvement student’s thinking skills is to apply a realistic mathematical approach in fourth-grade students of Cilandak Timur 01 Pagi Elementary School South-Jakarta. This type of research used in this research is classroom action research, the Kemmis and Taggart cycle models through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in grade IV students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri Cilandak Timur 01 Pagi Jakarta Selatan in semester 1 of 2019/2020 academic year for 2 cycles. The instruments used were tests of higher-order thinking skills and instruments of teacher and student activities. Data analysis in this research was descriptive (qualitative) and numerical data (quantitative). The results obtained from tests of high-level thinking ability, namely the first cycle of 41.9% and the second cycle increased to 87.1%. Therefore, it can be concluded that a realistic mathematical approach can improve the ability to think of high-level students in the fourth grade of the Cilandak Timur 01 Pagi Elementary School South-Jakarta.
