Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya perilaku kerja inovatif guru di SMA Negeri Kota Bekasi yang berdampak pada kurang optimalnya kualitas pembelajaran dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia di lingkungan sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis secara empiris pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung komunikasi interpersonal, berbagi pengetahuan, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif guru di SMA Negeri Kota Bekasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 283 guru dari populasi 965 guru SMA Negeri di Kota Bekasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode jalur (path analysis) dengan bantuan software SMART PLS untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap Perilaku Kerja Inovatif guru dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0,401 (p < 0,05). Berbagi pengetahuan juga berpengaruh langsung positif dengan koefisien 0,334 (p < 0,05), sedangkan komitmen organisasi memiliki pengaruh langsung positif sebesar 0,301 (p < 0,05). Selain itu, komunikasi interpersonal dan berbagi pengetahuan memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap Perilaku Kerja Inovatif guru melalui komitmen organisasi masing-masing sebesar 0,124 dan 0,110. Terdapat pula pengaruh tidak langsung komunikasi interpersonal terhadap Perilaku Kerja Inovatif melalui berbagi pengetahuan sebesar 0,089. Kesimpulannya, untuk meningkatkan Perilaku Kerja Inovatif guru diperlukan upaya terpadu yang mengoptimalkan komunikasi interpersonal, berbagi pengetahuan yang efektif, dan penguatan komitmen organisasi. Model peningkatan Perilaku Kerja Inovatif yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan praktis bagi pengelola pendidikan dan pemangku kepentingan dalam meningkatkan kualitas guru di SMA Negeri Kota Bekasi. **** This study is motivated by the low level of innovative work behavior among teachers at public high schools in Bekasi City, which impacts the suboptimal quality of teaching and human resource development within the school environment. The purpose of this research is to empirically analyze the direct and indirect effects of interpersonal communication, knowledge sharing, and organizational commitment on teachers’ innovative work behavior at public high schools in Bekasi City. This study employs a quantitative approach with a simple random sampling technique based on the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 283 teachers from a population of 965 public high school teachers in Bekasi City. Data analysis was conducted using path analysis with the assistance of SMART PLS software to examine the relationships between variables. The results show that interpersonal communication has a positive direct effect on teachers’ innovative behavior with a path coefficient of 0.401 (p < 0.05). Knowledge sharing also has a positive direct effect with a coefficient of 0.334 (p < 0.05), while organizational commitment has a positive direct effect of 0.301 (p < 0.05). Additionally, interpersonal communication and knowledge sharing have indirect effects on innovative behavior through organizational commitment, with coefficients of 0.124 and 0.110, respectively. There is also an indirect effect of interpersonal communication on innovative behavior through knowledge sharing, with a coefficient of 0.089. In conclusion, enhancing teachers’ innovative behavior requires an integrated effort to optimize interpersonal communication, effective knowledge sharing, and strengthening organizational commitment. The model of innovative behavior improvement derived from this study is expected to serve as a practical reference for education managers and stakeholders in enhancing teacher quality at public high schools in Bekasi City.
