Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah, 1) Mengetahui peningkatan hasil kecepatan renang 50 meter gaya dada setelah diberikan latihan Strechcordz, 2) Mengetahui peningkatan hasil kecepatan renang 50 meter gaya dada setelah diberikan latihan parachute, 3) Mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan hasil kecepatan renang 50 meter gaya dada setelah diberikan latihan metode latihan Strechcordz dan parachute. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain “two group pre-test post-test design”. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu dengan sampel sebanyak adalah 24 atlet klub renang Bina Taruna Swimming Club Jakarta. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan tes renang 50 meter gaya dada. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik uji-t dependent dan uji-t independent. Hasil penelitian, 1) kelompok strechcordz diperoleh thitung 5,125 > ttabel 2,201 dengan (df) = 11 dan taraf signifikan 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima artinya terdapat peningkatan setelah diberikan metode latihan strechcordz dengan kenaikan persentase sebesar 2,51% dan nilai mean sebesar 42,50 detik. 2) kelompok parachute diperoleh thitung 5,941 > ttabel 2,201 dengan (df) = 11 taraf signifikan 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima artinya terdapat peningkatan setelah diberikan metode latihan Parachute dengan kenaikan persentase sebesar 2,29% dan nilai mean sebesar 42,67 detik. 3) Tes akhir kelompok strechcordz dan parachute diperoleh thitung 0,092 < ttabel (2,074) berdasarkan (df) = 22 taraf signifikan 0,05 maka H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara metode latihan strechcordz dan parachute. Namun berdasarkan kenaikan persentase metode latihan strechcordz lebih baik terhadap peningkatan hasil kecepatan renang 50 meter gaya dada pada atlet klub renang Bina Taruna Swimming Club Jakarta. ***** The purpose of this study was, 1) To determine the increase in the results of the 50- meter breaststroke swimming speed after being given Strechcordz training, 2) To determine the increase in the results of the 50-meter breaststroke swimming speed after being given parachute training, 3) To determine the difference in the increase in the results of the 50-meter breaststroke swimming speed after being given Strechcordz and parachute training methods. The study was conducted using an experimental method with a "two group pre-test post-test design" design. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique, namely with a sample of 24 athletes from the Bina Taruna Swimming Club Jakarta swimming club. The research instrument used was a 50-meter breaststroke swimming test. The data analysis technique used statistical techniques dependent t-test and independent t- test. The results of the study, 1) the stretchcordz group obtained t count 5.125 > t table 2.201 with (df) = 11 and a significance level of 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning there is an increase after being given the stretchcordz training method with a percentage increase of 2.51% and a mean value of 42.50 seconds. 2) the parachute group obtained t count 5.941 > t table 2.201 with (df) = 11 a significance level of 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning there is an increase after being given the Parachute training method with a percentage increase of 2.29% and a mean value of 42.67 seconds. 3) The final test of the stretchcordz and parachute groups obtained t count 0.092 < t table (2.074) based on (df) = 22 significant level 0.05 then H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected it can be concluded that there is no significant difference between the stretchcordz and parachute training methods. However, based on the percentage increase, the stretchcordz training method is better for increasing the results of the 50-meter breaststroke swimming speed in athletes of the Bina Taruna Swimming Club Jakarta.
