Abstract

Metode UCD digunakan dalam empat tahapan, yaitu Spesify the Context of Use, Specify User and Organizational Requierements, Design Solutions, dan Evaluate Designs Against User Requirements. ***** The Attendance Data Information System (DASI) at Jakarta State University has been used to monitor and record employee attendance data in real time. However, as needs and technology have evolved, this system has encountered various obstacles, including a suboptimal interface display, an uninformative dashboard, and a need for new roles and features that have not yet been accommodated. This study aims to develop a more informative and modern user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design using a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach, and to evaluate the design results using a User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The UCD method was applied in four stages: Specify the Context of Use, Specify User and Organizational Requirements, Design Solutions, and Evaluate Designs Against User Requirements. A high-fidelity prototype was developed using the Figma application and tested by 20 respondents from various work units at UNJ. The evaluation using the UEQ showed positive results, with three scales Efficiency, Dependability, and Stimulation falling into the Excellent category, and the other three scales Attractiveness, Perspicuity, and Novelty falling into the Good category. These results indicate that the developed UI/UX design successfully creates an efficient, enjoyable, and user-centric experience. This research is expected to serve as a foundation for further development of the DASI system and contribute to improving the quality of adaptive human resources information systems tailored to institutional needs.
