Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mempengaruhi strategi promosi di berbagai sektor, termasuk industri kuliner. Video media interaktif berbasis motion graphic menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang efektif untuk menyampaikan informasi secara visual, menarik, dan mudah dipahami oleh audiens. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan memproduksi video interaktif sebagai media promosi digital bagi Restoran Pagi Sore yang dikenal dengan masakan khas Minang. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri dari enam tahap: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah video promosi interaktif yang menampilkan sejarah restoran, menu unggulan, suasana tempat, dan testimoni pelanggan dengan elemen animasi grafis yang menarik. Media ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat brand identity restoran dan menjangkau audiens digital secara lebih luas, khususnya generasi muda pengguna media sosial. ***** The advancement of information technology has influenced promotional strategies across various industries, including the culinary sector. Interactive video based on motion graphics has become an effective approach to delivering information in a visual, engaging, and easy-to-understand manner. This research aims to design and produce an interactive video as a digital promotional media for Pagi Sore Restaurant, which is known for its traditional Minangkabau cuisine. The development method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The result of this study is an interactive promotional video that showcases the restaurant’s history, signature menus, ambiance, and customer testimonials through appealing graphic animation. This media is expected to strengthen the restaurant's brand identity and reach a broader digital audience, especially the younger generation on social media.
