Abstract

Keterbatasan akses terhadap layanan rehabilitasi, khususnya di daerah dengan minim tenaga profesional, menjadi tantangan dalam penanganan cedera Lateral Ankle Sprain (LAS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model terapi latihan LAS berbasis aplikasi Android sebagai solusi inovatif yang dapat diakses secara mandiri oleh pasien. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan pendekatan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Proses pengembangan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan konten latihan, pembuatan aplikasi dengan platform Kodular, validasi ahli, uji kelayakan, dan uji efektivitas. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi memenuhi standar isi dan desain. Uji kelayakan oleh pengguna menyatakan bahwa aplikasi mudah digunakan dan bermanfaat. Sementara itu, uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan terhadap pemahaman dan pemulihan pasien LAS berdasarkan skor FAOS. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model terapi latihan berbasis Android dapat menjadi alternatif edukatif dan rehabilitatif yang efisien, fleksibel, dan terjangkau. Inovasi ini diharapkan dapat mendukung peningkatan kualitas pemulihan lateral ankle sprain, terutama bagi individu dengan keterbatasan akses layanan rehabilitasi konvensional. ***** Limited access to rehabilitation services—particularly in areas with a shortage of professional therapists poses a significant challenge in managing Lateral Ankle Sprain (LAS) injuries. This study aims to develop an Android-based exercise therapy model for LAS as an innovative solution that allows patients to engage in rehabilitation independently. The research employed a development approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The process involved needs analysis, content design, application development using the Kodular platform, expert validation, feasibility testing, and effectiveness testing. The content validation results indicated that the application met established standards in both content and design. Feasibility testing showed the application was user-friendly and beneficial. Effectiveness testing revealed a significant improvement in both patient knowledge and recovery outcomes based on FAOS scores. These findings suggest that the Android-based therapy model is a practical, flexible, and accessible alternative for LAS rehabilitation. This innovation is expected to support improved recovery outcomes, especially for individuals with limited access to conventional rehabilitation services.
