Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku cerita bergambar digital berbasis PBL yang dapat memfasilitasi dalam melatih kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas IV SD. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D), dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Tanjung Barat 07. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, kuesioner, dan tes. Hasil uji validasi ahli memperoleh nilai sebesar 93,8% dari ahli media, 100% dari ahli materi, dan 91,7% dari ahli bahasa, dengan hasil rata-rata sebesar 95,1% yang menunjukkan kriteria sangat layak. Sementara hasil uji coba pengguna pada siswa memperoleh nilai sebesar 91,7% di tahap one to one, 91% di tahap small group, dan 91,1% di tahap field test, dengan hasil rata-rata sebesar 91,3% yang menunjukkan kriteria sangat baik. Kemudian hasil rata-rata pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan dari 51,43 menjadi 84,76, dengan memperoleh skor N-gain sebesar 0,68 yang menunjukkan kriteria sedang. Dengan demikian, buku cerita bergambar digital berbasis PBL layak untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran IPA materi fotosintesis dan melatih kemampuan literasi sains siswa kelas IV SD. ***** This study aims to develop a digital picture storybook based on PBL that can facilitate training the scientific literacy ability of fourth grade elementary school students. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D), with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects in this study were fourth grade students at SDN Tanjung Barat 07. Data collection techniques included interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The expert validation results obtained a score of 93.8% from media experts, 100% from material experts, and 91.7% from language experts, with an average score of 95.1, indicating very feasible criteria. Meanwhile, the user testing results on students obtained a score of 91.7% in the one to one stage, 91% in the small group stage, and 91.1% in the field test stage, with an average result of 91.3%, indicating very good criteria. Furthermore, the average pretest and posttest results showed an increase from 51.43 to 84.76, with an N-gain score of 0.68, indicating moderate criteria. Thus, the digital picture storybook based on PBL is suitable for use in science learning on photosynthesis and training the scientific literacy ability of fourth grade elementary school students.
