Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media digital musical storytelling guna meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas I Sekolah Dasar dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian menunjukkan rendahnya kemampuan menyimak intensif kreatif siswa, seperti ketidakmampuan menirukan kata, mengungkapkan kembali pesan, serta memberikan tanggapan berdasarkan informasi yang didengar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi). Media yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh ahli media, materi, dan bahasa dengan hasil rata-rata 96,8% dalam kategori sangat layak. Uji coba dilakukan dalam tiga tahap: perorangan, kelompok kecil, dan lapangan, dengan hasil di atas 96% dan kategori sangat layak. Media ini menggabungkan narasi, musik, dan visual interaktif yang terbukti efektif meningkatkan minat serta kemampuan menyimak siswa. Meski menunjukkan hasil positif, implementasi media ini menghadapi kendala, seperti keterampilan teknis pengguna dan akses perangkat digital yang belum merata. Kesimpulannya, media digital musical storytelling dapat menjadi media pembelajaran alternatif yang inovatif dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak di sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci : Media pembelajaran; digital musical storytelling; keterampilan menyimak; Bahasa Indonesia; siswa SD. ***** This study aims to develop a digital musical storytelling medium to improve the listening skills of first-grade elementary school students in Indonesian language learning. The background of the study highlights the low level of students’ creative intensive listening skills, such as the inability to accurately imitate words, restate messages, and provide responses based on information heard. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The developed media was validated by media, material, and language experts, resulting in an average feasibility score of 96.8%, categorized as highly appropriate. Product trials were carried out in three stages: individual, small group, and field testing, all yielding scores above 96%, also categorized as highly appropriate. The media integrates narration, music, and interactive visuals, which proved effective in increasing students’ interest and listening skills. Despite showing positive results, the implementation of this media faced several obstacles, such as users’ technical skills and uneven access to digital devices. In conclusion, digital musical storytelling can serve as an innovative and effective alternative learning medium to enhance listening skills in elementary schools.
