Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan Teaching Factory di SMK PK Daerah Khusus (DK) Jakarta pada kompetensi keahlian Teknik Pendingin dan Tata Udara (TPTU) menggunakan model evaluasi berbasis tujuan (Goal Oriented), dimana tujuan program Teaching Factory yang telah ditetapkan berdasarkan hasil survei dari para praktisi. Teaching Factory merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa langsung dalam proses produksi atau layanan nyata di lingkungan sekolah atau institusi pendidikan. Namun, hingga saat ini belum terdapat evaluasi pelaksanaan Teaching Factory pada kompetensi keahlian TPTU di SMK PK DK Jakarta yang mengacu pada tujuan program tersebut. Saat ini, pembelajaran abad ke-21 menuntut penguasaan keterampilan 4C dan tujuan SMK untuk mencetak lulusan yang siap berwirausaha. Penelitian evaluatif diperlukan untuk menilai standar penilaian, pelaksanaan Teaching Factory, dan hasil evaluasinya, yang disesuaikan dengan tujuan program dan kebutuhan kompetensi peserta didik saat ini. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan mix method dengan metode studi kasus untuk data kualitatif dan didukung metode survei untuk data kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Concurrent Embedded dalam menghimpun data. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini berupa wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru, wakil kepala sekolah, pihak industri, dan peserta didik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu SMK PK di DK Jakarta yang sudah menerapkan Teaching Factory pada kompetensi keahlian TPTU. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah stratified sampling dan diperoleh lima sekolah di SMK DK Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif untuk data kuantitatif, analisis model Miles dan Huberman untuk data kualitatif, serta melakukan triangulasi sumber dan teknik untuk penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, ketercapaian tujuan program nilai rata-rata evaluasi sebesar 80,52% dan masuk dalam kategori Tinggi. Didukung oleh nilai rata-rata ketercapaian tujuan program berdasarkan angket peserta didik sebesar 84 dan dalam kategori Cukup Baik. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut, pelaksanaan Teaching Factory pada kompetensi keahlian TPTU di SMK PK DK Jakarta berjalan dengan baik. Adapun rekomendasi perbaikan dari hasil evaluasi yaitu pada penerapan pembelajaran praktik, peningkatan kreativitas siswa, sinergi dengan industri, dan peningkatan jiwa kewirausahaan. Kata Kunci: Evaluasi Program, Teaching Factory, link and match, TPTU, Goal Oriented Evaluation. **** This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Teaching Factory at Vocational High Schools (SMK PK) in the Special Region (DK) of Jakarta, specifically for the expertise of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (TPTU), using a Goal-Oriented evaluation model. The objectives of the Teaching Factory program, as set by the practitioners, were determined through a survey. Teaching Factory is an educational approach that directly involves students in real production processes or services within the school or educational institution. However, there has been no evaluation of the implementation of the Teaching Factory in TPTU at SMK PK DK Jakarta that aligns with these program objectives. In the context of 21st-century learning, the mastery of 4C skills is essential, and one of the objectives of SMK is to produce graduates who are ready to engage in entrepreneurship. Therefore, evaluative research is required to assess the standards of evaluation, the implementation of the Teaching Factory, and the results, in line with the program objectives and the current competency needs of students. This study employs a mixed-methods approach with a case study method for qualitative data, supported by a survey method for quantitative data. The research utilizes a Concurrent Embedded model for data collection. The data collection techniques used in this study include interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. The data sources consist of teachers, deputy headmasters, industry partners, and students. The population of this study includes SMK PK in the DK Jakarta area that has implemented the Teaching Factory in the TPTU field. Stratified sampling was used, and five schools in SMK DK Jakarta were selected. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis for quantitative data, the Miles and Huberman model for qualitative data analysis, and employs source and technique triangulation for drawing conclusions. Based on the evaluation results, the achievement of program objectives yielded an average evaluation score of 80.52%, which falls under the High category. This was supported by the average achievement score based on student questionnaires of 84, categorized as Fairly Good. The results indicate that the implementation of the Teaching Factory in TPTU at SMK PK DK Jakarta is running well. Recommendations for improvement from the evaluation include enhancing practical learning, boosting student creativity, strengthening industry synergy, and increasing entrepreneurial spirit.
