Abstract
Dewi Amirah Yunanda, Konstruksi Sosial Tradisi Beas Perelek Dalam Membentuk Karakter Siswa Sekolah Dasar (Studi pada SDN 1 Nagri Kaler Purwakarta), Skripsi, Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Sosiologi, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk malihat proses penanaman nilai-nilai tradisi beas perelek dalam membentuk karakter siswa sekolah dasar, mengidentifikasi peran institusi sekolah dalam membentuk karakter siswa sekolah dasar melalui tradisi beas perelek, serta mendeskripsikan konstruksi sosial tradisi beas perelek dalam membentuk karakter siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan 1 kepala sekolah, 2 guru, dan 5 siswa, dokumentasi, dan studi kepustakaan dengan menggunakan literatur dari jurnal, buku, artikel, dan internet. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan konsep konstruksi sosial Peter L. Berger dan Thomas Luckmann melalui tiga tahap eksternalisasi, objektivasi, dan internalisasi. Triangulasi data dilakukan dengan 5 orang tua siswa. Waktu penelitian ini berlangsung mulai dari Desember 2024-Juli 2025, berlokasi di SDN 1 Nagri Kaler Purwakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai-nilai tradisi beas perelek dilaksanakan melalui pembiasaan rutin pengumpulan beras setiap hari Kamis yang terintegrasi dengan kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam dan di luar kelas. Praktik ini memfasilitasi siswa untuk mengalami langsung nilai-nilai gotong royong, empati atau kepedulian, tanggung jawab, jujur dan disiplin. Penerapannya, kepala sekolah berperan sebagai inisiator kebijakan dan fasilitator; guru berperan sebagai mentor dan fasilitator yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai tradisi dalam pembelajaran; sedangkan orang tua berperan sebagai pendukung dan penguat nilai-nilai tradisi di rumah. Sinergi ini menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang menguatkan internalisasi tradisi. Konstruksi sosial tradisi beas perelek berlangsung melalui proses eksternalisasi berupa pengenalan dan adaptasi tradisi ke dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sekolah, objektivasi berupa pembentukan pemahaman kolektif tentang pentingnya tradisi, dan internalisasi berupa penyerapan nilai-nilai tradisi dalam perilaku siswa sehari-hari. This study aims to examine the process of instilling the values of the beas perelek tradition in shaping the character of elementary school students, identify the role of school institutions in shaping the character of elementary school through beas perelek tradition, and describe the social construction of the beas perelek tradition in shaping the character of elementary school students. This study uses a qualitative approach with case study method, with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews with 1 principal, 2 teachers, and 5 students, documentation, and literature studies using literature from journals, books, articles, and the internet. The data analysis technique is carried out through several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. Data analysis was carried out using the social construction concept of Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann through three stages: externalization, objectification, and internalization. Data triangulation was carried out with 5 parents of students. This research will occur from December 2024 to June 2025, located at SDN 1 Nagri Kaler Purwakarta. The results of the study show that the cultivation of the traditional values of beas perelek is carried out through the routine habituation of rice collection every Thursday which is integrated with activities in and out the main learning field. This practice facilitates students to experience firsthand the values of gotong royong, empathy or care, responsibility, honesty, and discipline. In its implementation, school principals play the role of policy initiators and facilitators; teachers act as mentors and facilitators who integrate traditional values into learning; meanwhile, parents play the role of supporters and reinforcements of traditional values at home. This synergy creates an educational environment that strengthens the internalization of traditions. The social construction of the beas perelek tradition takes place through a process of externalization in the form of adapting tradition into school learning activities, objectification in the form of forming collective understanding of the importance of tradition, and internalization in the form of absorption of traditional values in daily student behaviour.
