Abstract

Kampung wisata merupakan konsep pariwisata yang menjadikan masyarakat sebagai peran utama yang dapat mengembangkan wisata karena hasil kegiatan diperuntukan untuk masyarakat. Keterlibatan Masyarakat menjadi salah satu upaya yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat untuk mengembangkan kawasan wisatanya. Kawasan Balimester memiliki kawasan strategis dan berpotensi menjadi Urban Heritage Tourism. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui potensi wisata yang dimiliki Balimester dan upaya keterlibatan masyarakat melalui pengembangan wisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Sumber data menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan sebagai teknis menganalisis data. Uji keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber, metode, dan waktu. Dari hasil dan temuan penelitian bahwa proses keterlibatan masyarakat melalui tiga proses inti yaitu identifikasi potensi wisata, sosialisasi potensi wisata, dan pembentukan kelompok sadar wisata. Kata kunci: Heritage, Urban Heritage, CBT, Keterlibatan Masyarakat ***** Tourism village is a tourism concept that makes the community the main role that can develop tourism because the results of the activities are intended for the community. Community involvement is one of the efforts that can improve community knowledge and skills to develop their tourism areas. The Balimester area has a strategic area and has the potential to become Urban Heritage Tourism. The purpose of this study was to determine the tourism potential of Balimester and community involvement efforts through tourism development. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data sources use primary data and secondary data. Data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions as data analysis techniques. Test the validity of the data with triangulation of sources, methods, and time. From the results and findings of the study, the process of community involvement goes through three core processes, namely identification of tourism potential, socialization of tourism potential, and formation of tourism awareness groups.
