Abstract

***** The advancement of digital technology has led to the emergence of various mobile investment platforms, including Bibit, which offers convenience and efficiency, particularly for younger users. However, despite improved accessibility, user adoption of investment applications remains a challenge. This study aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Risk, and Perceived Trust on Intention to Use the Bibit application, with Perceived Trust as a mediating variable and Digital Financial Literacy as a moderating variable. This research employed a quantitative approach using cluster sampling on 321 Generation Z respondents residing in the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) area who are active users or have previously used the Bibit app. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Perceived Trust significantly and positively influence Intention to Use, while Perceived Risk shows a significant negative effect. Furthermore, Perceived Trust mediates the effect of the three variables on Intention to Use, and Digital Financial Literacy significantly moderates the effect of Perceived Risk on usage intention. These findings offer practical implications for mobile investment service providers to enhance platform quality based on user-perceived utility and financial literacy.
