Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis SOP (Standar Operasional Prosedur) keselamatan dalam operasional wisata arung jeram di Nagare Rafting Adventure, Bogor. Wisata arung jeram merupakan salah satu bentuk olahraga rekreasi yang memiliki risiko tinggi, sehingga penerapan sistem keselamatan yang terstruktur sangat penting. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari pengelola, pemandu, dan wisatawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi risiko keselamatan dalam kegiatan arung jeram cukup tinggi, khususnya pada jeram kelas III dan IV, yang mencakup risiko tenggelam, terjatuh dari perahu, serta cedera akibat benturan. Penerapan SOP (Standar Operasional Prosedur) oleh pihak pengelola masih bersifat informal dan belum terdokumentasi dalam bentuk SOP tertulis. Pemandu belum seluruhnya memiliki sertifikasi resmi dan pelatihan pertolongan pertama secara berkala. Briefing keselamatan dilakukan, namun masih terbatas pada penjelasan lisan tanpa simulasi yang memadai. Sarana penunjang seperti alat komunikasi darurat dan kehadiran petugas medis juga belum tersedia secara optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sistem SOP (Standar Operasional Prosedur) keselamatan di Nagare Rafting Adventure perlu ditingkatkan melalui penyusunan SOP keselamatan, pelatihan dan sertifikasi pemandu, evaluasi risiko berkala, serta edukasi keselamatan bagi peserta. Upaya ini diharapkan dapat meminimalisir kecelakaan serta meningkatkan kualitas dan kepercayaan wisatawan terhadap layanan wisata petualangan berbasis arus deras. ***** This study aims to analyze SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) in the context of safety during white-water rafting operations at Nagare Rafting Adventure, Bogor. White-water rafting is a form of recreational sport that involves high levels of risk, making the implementation of a structured safety system essential. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants consisted of the management, rafting guides, and tourists. The findings indicate that the potential safety risks during rafting activities are considerably high, particularly in Class III and IV rapids. These include risks such as drowning, falling overboard, and physical injury due to collisions. SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) at Nagare Rafting Adventure is still informal and lacks documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Not all guides hold official certifications or receive regular first aid training. Safety briefings are conducted but are limited to verbal explanations without adequate simulations. Supporting infrastructure such as emergency communication devices and on-site medical personnel is not yet optimal. This research concludes that the safety SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) system at Nagare Rafting Adventure requires improvement through the development of formal SOPs, periodic guide training and certification, regular risk evaluations, and comprehensive safety education for participants. These efforts are expected to minimize accidents and enhance both service quality and tourist confidence in white-water adventure tourism.
