Abstract
ABSTRAK Syifa Syafira Welina. Problematika Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Game Based Learning pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bekasi. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah. Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2025 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan problematika dalam penerapan model pembelajaran Game Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Sejarah yang dialami oleh guru dan siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bekasi pada periode Agustus 2024 hingga April 2025 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi,. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dan siswa mengalami berbagai problematika dalam penerapan model pembelajaran Game Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Sejarah, khususnya pada tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Problematika yang dihadapi oleh guru meliputi kesulitan dalam merancang konten permainan yang sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran, keterbatasan waktu dan sumber daya, tantangan dalam pengelolaan kelas yang interaktif, serta kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan sistem penilaian dengan pendekatan berbasis permainan. Sementara itu, siswa menghadapi sejumlah kendala seperti kesulitan memahami alur dan mekanisme permainan, kurangnya keterampilan bekerja sama dalam kelompok, kesulitan menjaga fokus terhadap materi, serta tekanan waktu dan kecemasan yang muncul saat proses evaluasi. Problems in the Implementation of the Game Based Learning Model in History Subject of Grade XI Social Science Class at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bekasi. Jakarta: History Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences & Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2025. This research aims to identify and describe the problems in the implementation of the Game Based Learning model in the History subject experienced by teachers and students. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Bekasi from August 2024 to April 2025 using a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that teachers and students experience various problems in the implementation of the Game Based Learning model in History subjects, particularly in the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The problems faced by teachers include difficulties in designing game content that aligns with the learning objectives, limited time and resources, challenges in managing interactive classrooms, and difficulties in adjusting the assessment system to the game-based approach. Meanwhile, students face several obstacles such as difficulties in understanding the flow and mechanics of the game, lack of collaboration skills in group work, difficulty maintaining focus on the material, as well as time pressure and anxiety that arise during the evaluation process.
