Abstract

Minat belajar menjadi salah satu faktor internal dari suatu keberhasilan belajar. Dalam meningkatkan minat belajar untuk membangun keingintahuan dan rasa senang dalam pembelajaran dapat muncul dari persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi mengajar seorang pendidik. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara persepsi kompetensi mengajar mahasiswa PKM terhadap minat belajar sosiologi siswa SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Model dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model korelasional untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara dua variabel. Terdapat satu variabel bebas yaitu Persepsi Kompetensi Mengajar Mahasiswa PKM (X) dan satu variabel terikat yaitu Minat Belajar (Y). Penelitian berlangsung dari bulan Februari hingga Mei 2025. Respondennya adalah siswa/I SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan teknik probability sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Jumlah sampel yang di dapatkan dari rumus slovin dengan toleransi kesalahan 5% sebanyak 154 responden. Peneliti menggunakan Google Form untuk pengambilan data dan analisis data berupa uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan bantuan IBM SPSS 26 dan Microsoft Excel untuk pengolahan data. Data hasil penelitian dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan uji korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara persepsi kompetensi mengajar mahasiswa PKM terhadap minat belajar. Terbukti dari hasil korelasi Rank Spearman diperoleh nilai Sig. 0,000 < 0,05 yang menyatakan terdapat hubungan, dengan nilai koefisien korelasinya sebesar 0,747 atau 74,7% yang menunjukan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi mengajar mahasiswa PKM memiliki hubungan sangat kuat terhadap minat belajar. Increasing interest in learning to build curiosity and a sense of enjoyment in learning can arise from students' perceptions of an educator's teaching competence. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out whether there was a relationship between the perception of teaching competence of PKM students and the interest in studying sociology of students at SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive analysis. The model in this research uses a correlational model to identify the relationship between two variables. There is one independent variable, namely Perception of Teaching Competency of PKM Students (X) and one dependent variable, namely Interest in Learning (Y). The research took place from February to May 2025. The respondents were students of SMA Negeri 109 Jakarta. The sampling technique used was a probability sampling technique with a simple random sampling method. The number of samples obtained from the Slovin formula with an error tolerance of 5% was 154 respondents. Researchers used Google Form for data collection and data analysis in the form of validity testing, reliability testing, and hypothesis testing using IBM SPSS 26 and Microsoft Excel for data processing. The research data were tested using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results of this study indicate a relationship between the perception of PKM students' teaching competence and their learning interest. This is proven by the Spearman Rank correlation results, which obtained a Sig. value of 0.000 <0.05, indicating a relationship, with a correlation coefficient value of 0.747 or 74.7%, indicating that students' perceptions of PKM students' teaching competence have a very strong relationship with their learning interest.
