Abstract

The aim of this research is to design ICT competences-integrated lifeskill-related syllabuses for English Language Education Study Program (ELESP). The research design that is used for this research is Design and Development Research (DDR). The syllabus design used in this study is task-based syllabus. To design the syllabuses, the researcher initially analyzed five translation syllabuses and five entrepreneurship syllabuses from ten different universities. Those syllabuses were analyzed and integrated by using ICT Competences Framework of UNESCO, EPG, and other ICT-based theories. The results of the study are: (1) there is a lack of ICT competences implemented in the existing syllabus components. The ICT competences mostly appears explicitly and implicitly in some syllabus components such as; teaching method, teaching and learning activities, assessment and grading, and references, (2) there are six step procedures of infusing the ICT competences into 14 syllabus component, and (3) the design of ICT competences-integrated translation and entrepreneurship syllabuses for English Language Education Study Program.
