Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan pemberdayaan melalui inovasi home industry yang memanfaatkan potensi lokal di wilayahnya, mengetahui bentuk keberlanjutan dalam pemberdayaan, dan mengidentifikasi dampak Dapoer Mak Demplon sebagai sarana pemberdayaan terhadap masyarakat. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Mei 2024 hingga Februari 2025 menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan lima informan anggota Dapoer Mak Demplon dan dua informan konsumen Dapoer Mak Demplon. Validitas data diperkuat melalui triangulasi dengan melibatkan RW 05 Sunter Muara. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kelompok perempuan naungan Dapoer Mak Demplon di Sunter Muara, Jakarta Utara, mampu memanfaatkan potensi lokal di wilayahnya dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi di masa pandemi COVID-19, sehingga memberikan peluang kepada masyarakat terkhusus ibu rumah tangga untuk melibatkan dirinya dalam membantu penghasilan keluarga. Proses pemberdayaan yang dilakukan meliputi: pengorganisasian kelompok, merumuskan visi kolektif, menyusun perencanaan pengembangan, keterlibatan partisipasi publik, dan implementasi kegiatan. Bentuk pemberdayaannya antara lain: pembuatan produk olahan empon-empon, pelestarian dan budidaya toga, serta kegiatan pelatihan. Melalui home industry, dampak positif dirasakan tidak hanya bagi para anggota, melainkan juga masyarakat setempat. ***** The research aims to describe the process of empowerment through home industry innovations that utilize local potential in the region, identify forms of sustainability in empowerment, and identify the impact of Dapoer Mak Demplon as a means of empowerment for the community. The research was conducted from May 2024 to February 2025, employing a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection involved in-depth interviews with five Dapoer Mak Demplon members and two Dapoer Mak Demplon consumers. Data validity was strengthened through triangulation involving RW 05 Sunter Muara. The findings reveal that the women's group under Dapoer Mak Demplon in Sunter Muara, North Jakarta, successfully utilized local potential in facing economic challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. This provided opportunities for the community, especially homemakers, to contribute to family income. The empowerment process included: group organizing, formulating a collective vision, developing strategic plans, fostering public participation, and implementing activities. Forms of empowerment included: producing processed traditional herbal drinks, preserving and cultivating medicinal plants, and conducting training activities. Through this home industry, positive impacts were felt not only by the members but also by the local community.
