Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh preferensi pada busana trendsetter terhadap perilaku konsumtif komunitas messes dalam pembelian produk busana. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah komunitas messes, yaitu komunitas yang memiliki ciri khas berpakaian vintage. Responden yang berpartisipasi sebanyak 100 orang. Data yang dihasilkan berupa data ordinal yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-T. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara preferensi busana trendsetter tehadap perilaku konsumtif komunitas messes. Indikator preferensi busana pada trendsetter yang paling berpengaruh dari penelitian ini adalah indikator kepribadian dan manfaat, dengan persentase 95%. Sedangkan indikator perilaku konsumtif yang dominan adalah indikator mencari kepuasan dengan persentase 92%. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa adanya trendsetter dalam dunia mode dapat berdampak pada perilaku konsutif, dengan konsumsi fashion menjadi salah satu bentuk acuan bagi komunitas messes untuk membentuk identitas diri. ************ This study aims to examine the influence of trendsetter fashion preferences on the consumptive behavior of the messes community in purchasing fashion products. This is a quantitative study. The research method used is a survey with a quantitative approach. The research sample is the messes community, which is a community characterized by vintage clothing. There were 100 respondents who participated in the study. The data generated is ordinal data analyzed using a ttest. The fashion preference indicators for the most influential trendsetters in this study were personality and benefits, with a percentage of 95%. Meanwhile, the dominant consumptive behavior indicator was the search for satisfaction, with a percentage of 92%. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between fashion trendsetter preferences and the consumer behavior of the messes community. This study concludes that the presence of trendsetters in the fashion world can impact consumer behavior, with fashion consumption serving as one of the reference points for the messes community in forming their self-identity.
