Abstract
Revitalisasi fasilitas umum di kapal penumpang menjadi isu penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan transportasi laut, khususnya pada fasilitas cafetaria yang berperan mendukung kenyamanan penumpang selama perjalanan. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh revitalisasi fasilitas umum cafetaria terhadap kepuasan penumpang di kapal KM. Labobar milik PT. PELNI, dengan fokus pada perubahan tampilan fisik, kenyamanan tempat duduk, dan kualitas pelayanan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab pertanyaan: Apakah revitalisasi fasilitas umum cafetaria berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan penumpang? Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei melalui kuesioner kepada 92 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design dan data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana serta uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa revitalisasi cafetaria berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan penumpang dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,458 dan tingkat signifikansi yang memenuhi kriteria statistik. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengelolaan fasilitas kapal, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan fasilitas publik berdampak langsung terhadap peningkatan kepuasan penumpang. ***** The revitalization of public facilities on passenger ships is an important issue in improving the quality of maritime transportation services, particularly in cafeteria facilities that play a role in supporting passenger comfort during the journey. This study examines the effect of revitalizing public cafeteria facilities on passenger satisfaction on the KM. Labobar ship owned by PT. PELNI, focusing on changes in physical appearance, seating comfort, and service quality. The primary objective of this study is to answer the question: Does the revitalization of cafeteria facilities significantly impact passenger satisfaction? This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method via a questionnaire administered to 92 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The research design utilized is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design, and data were analyzed using simple linear regression, as well as validity and reliability tests. The analysis results indicate that cafeteria revitalization significantly impacts passenger satisfaction, with a regression coefficient value of 0.458 and a significance level meeting statistical criteria. This finding provides important contributions to ship facility management, demonstrating that improvements in public facilities directly impact increased passenger satisfaction.
