Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menghambat proses muat barang terhadap kelancaran ekspor pada gudang konsolidasi PT. KBN Prima Logistik. Proses muat barang merupakan salah satu tahapan penting dalam rantai logistik ekspor yang apabila terhambat dapat menimbulkan keterlambatan pengiriman, peningkatan biaya operasional, hingga penurunan kepercayaan mitra dagang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi terhadap informan kunci seperti kepala gudang, koordinator lapangan, staf operasional, dan admin gudang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode Fishbone (diagram tulang ikan) dengan kategori penyebab berdasarkan 5M + 1E, yaitu: Man, Material, Method, Machine, Measurement, dan Environment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hambatan utama dalam proses muat barang berasal dari keterbatasan sumber daya manusia yang belum terlatih secara optimal, kondisi kontainer yang tidak layak, minimnya operator alat berat, gangguan jaringan, kurangnya evaluasi kinerja, serta faktor eksternal seperti cuaca ekstrem dan banjir rob. Hambatan-hambatan ini berdampak langsung terhadap efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional ekspor. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disarankan agar perusahaan menambah jumlah SDM, meningkatkan pelatihan bagi staf, melakukan evaluasi internal secara berkala. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan masukan bagi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kinerja operasional di gudang konsolidasi. . ***** This study analyze the factors that hinder the loading process and its impact on the smooth operation of exports at the consolidation warehouse of PT. KBN Prima Logistik. The loading process is a crucial stage in the export logistics chain which, if disrupted, can lead to shipment delays, increased operational costs, and decreased trust from trading partners. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, in which data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation with key informants such as warehouse managers, field coordinators, operational staff, and warehouse administrators. The data analysis technique uses the Fishbone method (Ishikawa diagram) with causal categories based on 5M + 1E: Man, Material, Method, Machine, Measurement, and Environment. The results show that the main obstacles in the loading process stem from untrained human resources, unfit container conditions, a shortage of heavy equipment operators, network disruptions, lack of performance evaluation, and external factors such as extreme weather and tidal flooding. These obstacles are interrelated and have a direct impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of export operations. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the company increase its human resources, improve staff training, and conduct regular internal evaluations. It is hoped that this research will provide input for the company to improve operational performance in its consolidated warehouse.
