Abstract

***** This research aims to design and develop a real-time based electronic donation box concept called Givefy as a solution for transparency in donations at philanthropic institutions, specifically at BAZNAS RI. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model approach limited to the Development stage. Data were collected through interviews with the Head of the Archive and Public Information Service of BAZNAS RI, literature studies, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive analysis method by Miles & Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research shows that the cash donation channel at BAZNAS still uses a manual system and has not been digitally integrated. Givefy is designed to detect the amount of money, record transactions, and display donation reports in real-time that can be accessed by the public, thereby supporting the principles of transparency and accountability. Based on the analysis of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), this system is assessed to have a high level of perceived usefulness because it can enhance public trust, and is easy to use by both managers and the community. This research is expected to serve as a recommendation for philanthropic institutions in improving the management of donations that are accountable and transparent. The limitations of this study lie in the development that has not yet reached the stage of implementation and evaluation, thus further research is suggested to test the system in real operational environments.
