Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media buku panduan mitigasi bencana terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan warga sekolah dan kontribusinya dalam mengoptimalkan penerapan Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana (SPAB) di SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bekasi, khususnya pada pilar ketiga, yaitu pendidikan pencegahan dan pengurangan risiko bencana. Observasi awal menunjukkan tingkat optimalisasi SPAB sebesar 63% (kategori hampir optimal), dengan rincian: pilar pertama sangat optimal (78%), pilar kedua belum optimal (14%), dan pilar ketiga kurang optimal (50%). Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada pilar ketiga karena peran strategisnya dalam membentuk pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan warga sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimental one group Pre-Test and Post-Test, dengan melibatkan 57 responden dari warga sekolah. Data diperoleh melalui tes pengetahuan mitigasi bencana banjir dan gempa bumi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari 59,74 (Pre-Test) menjadi 84,91 (Post-Test), dengan selisih 25,17 poin. Uji Paired sample T-Test menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05), sehingga hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, artinya penggunaan buku panduan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan warga sekolah. Setelah intervensi, tingkat optimalisasi pilar ketiga meningkat menjadi 83% dan turut mendorong peningkatan skor SPAB keseluruhan menjadi 68% (kategori optimal). Dengan demikian, penggunaan buku panduan terbukti berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan mitigasi bencana dan mendukung keberhasilan program SPAB di SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bekasi. ***** This study aims to examine the influence of using a disaster mitigation guidebook on improving school community knowledge and its contribution to optimizing the implementation of the Disaster Safe Education Unit (SPAB) at SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bekasi, particularly in the third pillar: disaster risk reduction and prevention education. Preliminary observations showed that the overall SPAB implementation level reached 63% (categorized as nearly optimal), with the following breakdown: the first pillar at 78% (optimal), the second pillar at 14% (not yet optimal), and the third pillar at 50% (less optimal). The research focused on the third pillar due to its strategic role in shaping knowledge and preparedness among school members. This study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental one-group Pre-Test and Post-Test design, involving 57 school community respondents. Data were collected through a disaster mitigation knowledge test covering flood and earthquake topics. The results showed an increase in the average score from 59.74 (Pre-Test) to 84.91 (Post-Test), with a gain of 25.17 points. The Paired Sample T-Test produced a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that the use of the guidebook significantly affected knowledge improvement. Following the intervention, the optimization level of the third pillar increased to 83%, also contributing to an increase in the overall SPAB score to 68% (categorized as optimal). Thus, the use of the guidebook effectively improved disaster mitigation knowledge and supported the successful implementation of SPAB at SMA Negeri 6 Kota Bekasi.
