Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model belajar teknik smash dalam permainan sepaktakraw yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa ekstrakurikuler di SMPN 53 Jakarta. Latar belakang penelitian ini muncul dari hasil observasi dan wawancara yang menunjukkan bahwa banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menguasai teknik lanjutan, sementara proses pembelajaran yang diberikan oleh pelatih cenderung masih konvensional dan belum terstruktur. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya motivasi serta kurang optimalnya hasil latihan siswa dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sepaktakraw. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima tahapan: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menjadi dasar perancangan 10 model pembelajaran teknik smash yang dirancang secara bertahap, sistematis, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik usia SMP. Model yang dikembangkan telah divalidasi oleh tiga ahli dan dinyatakan layak. Implementasi model dilakukan melalui beberapa pertemuan latihan ekstrakurikuler. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa model ini mampu meningkatkan keterampilan teknik siswa, menumbuhkan semangat berlatih, serta memudahkan pelatih dalam menyampaikan materi. Dengan demikian, model ini dapat dijadikan alternatif pembelajaran yang inovatif dan aplikatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran teknik smash dalam sepaktakraw. Kata Kunci : model pembelajaran, teknik smash, sepaktakraw, ekstrakurikuler, ADDIE/ ABSTRACK This study aims to develop a learning model for the smash technique in sepaktakraw, tailored to the characteristics of students participating in extracurricular activities at SMPN 53 Jakarta. The background of the research is based on observations and interviews which revealed that many students have difficulty mastering advanced techniques, while the training process provided by coaches tends to be conventional and unstructured. This condition affects students' motivation and results in suboptimal training outcomes in sepaktakraw extracurricular activities. The research employed the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The needs analysis served as the foundation for designing 10 learning models for the smash technique, systematically arranged and adapted to the developmental level of junior high school students. The developed model was validated by three experts and was declared feasible. The model was implemented during several extracurricular training sessions. The results showed that this model improved students’ technical skills, increased their enthusiasm for training, and made it easier for coaches to deliver the material. Therefore, this model can serve as an innovative and applicable learning alternative to enhance the quality of teaching the smash technique in sepaktakraw.
