Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran model Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) (attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control) beserta entrepreneurship education terhadap intensi berwirausaha pada mahasiswa di Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya niat berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa meskipun pendidikan kewirausahaan telah banyak diberikan di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif untuk menguji pengembangan model Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) dalam memprediksi intensi berwirausaha. Data diperoleh melalui survei terhadap 349 mahasiswa di berbagai wilayah Indonesia. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi hirarki dengan SPSS untuk melihat kontribusi masing-masing variabel secara bertahap, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, di mana variabel Entrepreneurship Education dimasukkan pada tahap akhir untuk melihat kontribusi tambahannya secara terpisah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Attitude, Subjective Norms, dan Perceived Behavioral Control secara signifikan memengaruhi Entrepreneurial Intention dengan nilai F = 30,472, p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), dan koefisien determinasi R² = 0,410. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel tersebut mampu menjelaskan 41% variasi intensi berwirausaha. Penambahan variabel Entrepreneurship Education juga memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan niat berwirausaha mahasiswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya pendidikan kewirausahaan yang tidak hanya teoritis, tetapi juga mampu memperkuat faktor psikologis mahasiswa dalam membentuk intensi berwirausaha. ***** This research aims to examine the role of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) model (attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control) along with entrepreneurship education on Entrepreneurial Intention among students in Indonesia. The background of this research is the low Entrepreneurial Intention among students even though entrepreneurship education has been widely provided in universities. This research uses a quantitative approach to test the development of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) model in predicting Entrepreneurial Intention s. Data was obtained through a survey of 349 students in various regions of Indonesia. The data analysis technique uses hierarchical regression with SPSS to see the contribution of each variable in stages, either partially or simultaneously, where the Entrepreneurship Education variable is entered at the final stage to see its additional contribution separately. The results of the analysis show that Attitude , Subjective Norms, and Perceived Behavioral Control significantly influence Entrepreneurial Intention with a value of F = 30.472, p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), and the coefficient of determination R² = 0.410. This shows that these three variables are able to explain 41% of the variation in Entrepreneurial Intention. The addition of the Entrepreneurship Education variable also makes a significant contribution in increasing students' entrepreneurial intentions. These findings show the importance of Entrepreneurship Education which is not only theoretical, but also able to strengthen students' psychological factors in forming entrepreneurial intentions.
