Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data tentang faktor-faktor apa saja yang memengaruhi rendahnya minat belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI di SMA Bunda Kandung Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif (descriptive research) dengan teknik survei (survey studies) melalui penyebaran angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa-siswi kelas XI di SMA Bunda Kandung Jakarta yang berjumlah 156 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 60% dari jumlah siswa kelas XI, yakni berjumlah 94 siswa yang diambil menggunakan tenik Proportional random sampling dari 5 kelas XI di SMA Bunda Kandung. Teknik analisis yang digunakan menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk menganalisis data penyajian melalui tabel distributive frekuensi relative atau lebih dikenal dengan sebutan tabel persentase. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan didapatkan hasil bahwa minat belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal yang memengaruhi minat belajar siswa dalam belajar sejarah adalah bakat dan motivasi. Sedangkan, untuk faktor eksternal siswa yang memengaruhi minat belajar siswa adalah lingkungan sekolah, terutama cara mengajar guru. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa ternyata faktor internal dan faktor eksternal merupakan hal yang sangat memengaruhi minat belajar sejarah siswa di SMA Bunda Kandung Jakarta. Kata Kunci : Faktor, Minat, Sejarah ***** This research aims to obtain data on the faktors that influence the low interest in learning history among 11th-grade students at SMA Bunda Kandung Jakarta. This study uses a descriptive research method with a survey technique through the distribution of questionnaires. The population in this research includes all 11th-grade students at SMA Bunda Kandung Jakarta, totaling 156 students. The sample consists of 60% of the 11th-grade student population, namely 94 students, selected using proportional random sampling from the five 11th-grade classes at SMA Bunda Kandung. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics to analyze and present the data in the form of relative frequency distribution tables, commonly known as percentage tables. Based on the calculations, the results show that students’ interest in learning is influenced by both internal and external faktors. Internal faktors affecting students' interest in learning history include talent and motivation. Meanwhile, the external faktor influencing students’ interest is the school environment, particularly the teacher's teaching methods. This indicates that both internal and external faktors significantly influence students' interest in learning history at SMA Bunda Kandung Jakarta. Keywords: Factors, Interest, History
