Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh minat kerja, pengalaman magang dan soft skill terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran (PAP) Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan 2021. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya kesiapan kerja lulusan perguruan tinggi di Indonesia akibat ketidaksesuaian antara kompetensi lulusan dengan tuntutan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif kausal dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 182 siswa, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner serta dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda melalui SPSS versi 30. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial maupun simultan minat kerja, pengalaman magang dan soft skill berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa ketiga variabel tersebut merupakan faktor penting yang perlu dikembangkan oleh institusi pendidikan tinggi untuk meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa menghadapi dunia kerja. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi mahasiswa, dosen dan pengelola program studi dalam merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan industri.*****This study aims to analyze the effect of job interest, internship experience, and soft skills on the work readiness of students of the Office Administration Education Study Program (PAP), State University of Jakarta class of 2021. The background of this study is based on the low work readiness of college graduates in Indonesia due to the mismatch between the competence of graduates and the demands of the world of work. This study uses a causal associative quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study was 182 students, with the sampling technique being proportional random sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 30. The results showed that partially and simultaneously, job interest, internship experience, and soft skills had a significant effect on student work readiness. The findings indicate that these three variables are important factors that need to be developed by higher education institutions to improve students' readiness to face the world of work. This research provides practical implications for students, lecturers, and study program managers in designing learning strategies that are more relevant to industry needs.
