Abstract
Kata Kunci: Modul Ajar Elektronik, Sosiologi, Siswa Inklusi, Slow learner, Model ADDIE ***** This study aims to develop an electronic sociology teaching module specifically designed for inclusive education students categorized as slow learners at the senior high school level. The development of this module is driven by the need for instructional materials that are more adaptive to the learning capabilities of inclusive students, particularly in understanding abstract concepts found in the topic of “Social Groups.” This module is expected to serve as an inclusive-friendly, communicative, and accessible alternative to support students with special educational needs. The method employed in this study is Research and Development (R&D) using a mixed-methods approach, through the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. In the Analyze stage, needs analysis was conducted on students, curriculum, and subject matter. The Design stage involved determining the instructional design and selecting the content to be developed. The Develop stage included creating the module and conducting feasibility validation by a content expert (Sociology teacher) and a media expert. The Implement stage was carried out through a limited trial involving five slow learner students in one of the eleventh-grade classes. The Evaluate stage was conducted formatively based on validation and trial outcomes. The results show that the developed teaching module is considered feasible based on expert validation and the limited trial. It meets the standards of content, presentation, language, and visual design. The development of this module holds significant urgency in supporting the implementation of inclusive education in schools. For educational institutions, it contributes to fulfilling the learning rights of students with special needs and improving the quality of equitable education services. For teachers, it supports the preparation of teaching materials and assessments, while facilitating structured and effective differentiated instruction. For slow learner students, the presence of an adapted module enhances active participation, aligns with their learning pace, and helps bridge their understanding of Sociology concepts in a more contextual, simplified, and relevant manner for daily life.
