The research employed a quantitative method with hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis. The instruments used in this study were Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale to measure psychological well-being and the Almost Perfect Scale–Revised to measure perfectionism. The sampling technique applied was non-probability sampling, specifically purposive sampling. The study involved 245 respondents, all of whom were eldest daughters in the emerging adulthood stage. The findings revealed a significant influence of adaptive perfectionism on the psychological well-being of eldest daughters in emerging adulthood, accounting for 21.8% of the variance. A partial analysis was also conducted based on perfectionism types, and the results indicated that adaptive perfectionists have a positive influence on psychological well-being, with a coefficient (B) value of 20.919.
