Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan utama, pertama untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program ecobrick oleh kader Dasawisma. Kedua, untuk mendeskripsikan hambatan dan dampak pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program ecobrick yang dilakukan oleh kader dasawisma di RW 015 Duren Sawit. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 informan kunci yang terdiri dari ketua RW 015, Ketua Program, Ketua Dasawisma, dan Kader Dasawisma yang berkontribusi besar dalam program ecobrick dan dilengkapi oleh 2 informan triangulasi data yaitu masyarakat RW 015 Duren Sawit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program ecobrick di RW 015 Duren Sawit berlangsung secara holistik dan bertahap, dimulai dari fase inisiasi hingga mencapai tingkat partisipasi aktif masyarakat. Inisiatif ini lahir dari kepedulian bersama terhadap persoalan sampah plastik yang semakin mendesak, terutama di kawasan permukiman padat. Kader Dasawisma mengambil peran penting sebagai fasilitator dalam mendorong perubahan pola pikir dan perilaku warga melalui edukasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan. Proses ini secara bertahap membangun kesadaran kritis masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan, sekaligus menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab kolektif atas kondisi lingkungan sekitar. Dalam pelaksanaannya, terdapat sejumlah kendala seperti fluktuasi partisipasi warga, sulit nya penyesuaian jadwal pertemuan, serta tantangan dalam mempertahankan komitmen jangka panjang. Kendala-kendala tersebut mampu diatasi melalui adaptasi strategi pelaksanaan yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi warga serta peningkatan keterlibatan kader secara berkelanjutan. The first is to describe the implementation of community empowerment through the ecobrick program by Dasawisma cadres. The second is to describe the obstacles and impacts of community empowerment through the ecobrick program carried out by Dasawisma cadres in RW 015 Duren Sawit. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data for this study were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review. The research subjects consisted of four key informants, including the RW 015 chairman, program chairman, Dasawisma chairman, and Dasawisma cadres who made significant contributions to the ecobrick program, supplemented by two data triangulation informants, namely the community of RW 015 Duren Sawit. The results of the study indicate that community empowerment through the ecobrick program in RW 015 Duren Sawit occurs holistically and gradually, starting from the initiation phase until reaching the level of active community participation. This initiative arose from shared concern about the increasingly urgent issue of plastic waste, particularly in densely populated residential areas. Dasawisma cadres played a crucial role as facilitators in promoting changes in residents' mindset and behavior through education, training, and ongoing mentoring. This process gradually built critical awareness among the community about the importance of sustainable waste management while fostering a sense of collective responsibility for the surrounding environment. In its implementation, several challenges arose, such as fluctuations in resident participation, difficulties in adjusting meeting schedules, and challenges in maintaining long-term commitment. These challenges were overcome through the adaptation of implementation strategies tailored to residents' conditions and the continuous enhancement of community leader involvement.
