Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat pengaruh fathering self-efficacy terhadap father involvement pada ayah yang memiliki anak usia 0-5 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling non-probability. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden penelitian sebanyak 143 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Dari hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif fathering self-efficacy terhadap father involvement pada ayah yang memiliki anak usia 0-5 tahun. Artinya apabila seorang ayah memiliki keyakinan yang tinggi bahwa dirinya mampu berperan sebagai ayah, maka keterlibatannya dalam mengasuh anak juga akan cenderung tinggi. Dalam penelitian ini juga ditemukan bahwa fathering self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh terhadap father involvement sebesar 42.1%. ***** This study aims to see the effect of fathering self-efficacy on father involvement in fathers who have children aged 0-5 years. This type of research uses quantitative research design using non-probability sampling techniques. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total of 143 research respondents. The simple linear regression was used for the data analysis. The results showed that there is a positive effect of fathering self-efficacy on father involvement in fathers who have children aged 0-5 years. This indicates that fathers who possess a higher level of confidence in their ability to fulfill the paternal role are more actively involved in child rearing. This study also found that fathering self-efficacy has an influence on father involvement by 42.1%.
