Abstract

ABSTRAK Nadia Azzahra. 1709621053. Pengaruh Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) dan Hard Skill terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Siswa Kelas 12 SMK Negeri Jurusan Manajemen Perkantoran di Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh praktik kerja lapangan dan hard skill terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas 12 SMK Negeri jurusan Manajemen Perkantoran di Jakarta Timur. PKL merupakan kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman nyata yang dilakukan siswa di dunia kerja, sedangkan hard skill mencakup keterampilan teknis yang dapat diukur dan diajarkan secara formal. Kedua variabel tersebut diyakini berperan penting dalam membentuk kesiapan kerja siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey dan desain eksplanatori. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 180 siswa kelas 12 yang telah mengikuti PKL dari empat SMK Negeri dan sebanyak 123 siswa dijadikan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) menggunakan software SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, (2) hard skill berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja, dan (3) PKL dan hard skill secara simultan juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi keterlibatan siswa dalam praktik kerja lapangan dan semakin baik penguasaan hard skill, maka semakin tinggi tingkat kesiapan kerja mereka. Oleh karena itu, disarankan kepada sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelaksanaan PKL dan pembelajaran keterampulan teknis, serta memperkuat kerja sama dengan dunia industri agar lulusan SMK memiliki kesiapan optimal dalam menghadapi dunia kerja. The Influence of Field Work Practice and Hard Skills on the Work Readiness of 12th Grade Students of State Vocational School in Office Management Departement in East Jakarta. This study aims to determine the influence of field work practice and hard skills on the work readiness of 12th grade students at State Vocational High Schools majoring in Office Management in East Jakarta. Field work practice refers to experiential learning activities conducted of measurable technical abilities acquired through formal instruction. Both variables are believed to play a crucial role in shaping students work readiness. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method and an explanatory research design. The study population consisted of 180 12th grade students who had participated in internship from four State Vocational High Schools. A total of 123 students were selected as the sample using proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire and analysed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the SmartPLS 4.0 software. The result of this study indicate that (1) field work practice has a positive and significant effect on work readiness; (2) hard skills also have a positive and significant effect on work readiness; and (3) both field work practice and hard skills simultaneously exert a significant influence on students work readiness. These finding suggest that the greater the students involvement in internship programs and the better their mastery of hard skills, the higher their level of work readiness. Therefore, its is recommended that schools enhance the quality of internship implementation and technical skill development, as well as strengthen partnership with industries to ensure that vocational school graduates are well prepared to enter the workfoce.
