Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan orang tua, khususnya ibu-ibu di RW 005 Kelurahan Lubang Buaya, dalam mendampingi anak menggunakan teknologi digital secara bijak melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR). Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah maraknya tantangan pengasuhan anak di era digital, seperti rendahnya literasi digital orang tua, kurangnya pengawasan terhadap aktivitas daring anak, dan komunikasi keluarga yang kurang efektif. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus tindakan, yang meliputi Workshop literasi digital, simulasi komunikasi positif dan kesepakatan keluarga digital, serta pendampingan peer to peer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan orang tua terhadap fitur keamanan digital, pemahaman dalam membangun komunikasi dalam keluarga, dan keterampilan dalam membangun kesepakatan penggunaan teknologi bersama anak. Pendekatan PAR terbukti efektif dalam mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta, membangun refleksi kritis, serta menciptakan solusi yang sesuai dengan konteks lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dalam pemberdayaan komunitas serta penguatan strategi pengasuhan adaptif di era digital. ***** This study aims to empower parents, particularly mothers in RW 005, Lubang Buaya Village, in assisting their children in using digital technology wisely through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The background of this study is the increasing challenges of parenting in the digital era, such as low parental digital literacy, lack of supervision of children's online activities, and ineffective family communication. The study was conducted in three action cycles, which included a digital literacy Workshop, a simulation of positive communication and digital family agreements, and peer-to-peer mentoring. The results showed an increase in parents' knowledge of digital security features, understanding of building communication within the family, and skills in building agreements on technology use with children. The PAR approach proved effective in encouraging active participant involvement, fostering critical reflection, and creating solutions appropriate to the local context. This research provides a practical contribution to community empowerment and strengthening adaptive parenting strategies in the digital era.
