Abstract

Kecemasan karir kerap kali dirasakan oleh mahasiswa tingkat akhir, berbagai tantangan ketidakpastian dalam menghadapi transisi menuju dunia kerja dan tuntutan yang harus dihadapi dalam menyelesaikan skripsi sebagai syarat kelulusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh career planning confidence terhadap kecemasan karir pada mahasiswa akhir di Jakarta. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen career planning confidence scale oleh McAuliffe et al., (2006) dan career anxiety scale oleh Tsai et al., (2017). Sampel berjumlah 163 responden mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi atau Tugas Akhir di Jakarta dengan motode pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitin ini menunjukkan bawah terdapat pengaruh negatif antara career planning confidence terhadap kecemasan karir pada mahasiswa akhir di Jakarta. Artinya semakin tinggi career planning confidence semakin rendah kecemasan karir pada mahasiswa akhir di Jakarta.*****Career anxiety is often felt by final year students, various challenges of uncertainty in facing the transition to the world of work and the demands that must be faced in completing a thesis as a graduation requirement. This study aims to determine the effect of career planning confidence on career anxiety in final year students in Jakarta. Data collection used the career planning confidence scale instrument by McAuliffe et al., (2006) and the career anxiety scale by Tsai et al., (2017). The sample amounted to 163 respondents of final year students who were working on their thesis or Final Project in Jakarta with a quantitative approach method. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that there is a negative influence between career planning confidence on career anxiety in final year students in Jakarta. This means that the higher the career planning confidence, the lower the career anxiety of final students in Jakarta.
