Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa Tata Boga dengan menggunakan media video animasi 2 dimensi kebutuhan gizi ibu hamil. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre experimental, pada metode ini menggunakan desain penelitian one group pre-test post-test design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Boga angkatan 2023 sejumlah 30 orang. Uji statistik yang digunakan menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 33,47 dan nilai rata-rata post-test sebesar 88,40 terdapat selisih sebesar 54,93. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan paired sampel t-test diperoleh signifikansi 0,00001 lebih kecil dari nilai p value 0,05 dan diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 25,62 dan nilai t hitung sebesar 2,04, yang artinya nilai nilai t hitung lebih besar dari nilai t tabel maha Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil uji N-Gain mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,83 masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil perhitungan angket respon mahasiswa mendapatkan hasil yang sangat efektif yaitu sebesar 99,3%, artinya mahasiswa setuju penggunaan media video animasi 2 dimensi efektif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan mahasiswa Tata Boga melalui penggunaan media video animasi 2 dimensi kebutuhan gizi ibu hamil. ***** This study aims to analyze the improvement of Culinary Arts students’ knowledge through the use of a 2D animated video on the nutritional needs of pregnant women. The research employed a pre-experimental method, specifically using a one-group pre-test post-test design. The sample consisted of 30 students from the 2023 batch of the Culinary Education Program. The statistical test used was the paired sample t-test. The results showed an average pre-test score of 33.47 and a post-test average score of 88.40, with a difference of 54.93. The hypothesis test using the paired sample t- test resulted in a significance value of 0.00001, which is lower than the p-value of 0.05. The t-calculated value was 25.62, compared to the t-table value of 2.04, indicating that the t-calculated is greater than the t-table, thus rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho) and accepting the alternative hypothesis (Ha). The N-Gain test showed an increase of 0.83, which falls into the high category. The student response questionnaire yielded a very effective result of 99.3%, indicating that students agreed the 2D animated video was effective in enhancing their knowledge. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant improvement in Culinary Arts students' knowledge through the use of 2D animated video media on the nutritional needs of pregnant women.
