Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inquiry terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis muatan IPA pada siswa kelas V di Kecamatan Cipayung. Penelitian dilakukan dalam rentang waktu bulan Mei 2025 pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Pada metode eksperimen terdapat kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Cipayung. Penentuan sampel menggunakan cluster sampling. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dengan menggunakan Excel pada nilai normalitas pada kelas eksperimen Lhitung 0,0755 < Ltabel 0,1591, kelas kontrol Lhitung 0,0755 < Ltabel 0,1591, data berdistribusi normal. Lalu uji yang digunakan untuk membuktikan hasil uji hipotesis dimana thitung 2,320 dan ttabel 1,670 dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05 maka berdasarkan kriteria H0 ditolak dan Hα diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran Inquiry terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis muatan IPA kelas V di Kecamatan Cipayung. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on the ability to think critically about science content in grade V students in Cipayung District. The research was conducted in the span of May 2025 in the even semester of the 2024/2025 school year. The research method used in this research is experimental. In the experimental method, there is a control class and an experimental class. The population of this research is all elementary schools in Cipayung Subdistrict. Sample determination using cluster sampling. The results obtained from this study using Excel on the normality value in the experimental class L-value 0.0755 < L-table 0.1591, control class L-value 0.0755 < L-table 0.1591, the data is normally distributed. Then the test used to prove the results of the hypothesis test were t-value 2.320 and t-table 1.670 with a significant level α = 0.05. Then, based on the criteria, H0 is rejected and Hα is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant effect of the inquiry learning model on the critical thinking ability of grade V science content in Cipayung District.
