Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan growth mindset dan fear of failure dalam mencari kerja pada fresh graduate. Penelitian ini enggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan 143 responden usia 20 – 25 tahun yang merupakan lulusan tahun 2023 – 2025 dan belum memiliki pekerjaan tetap, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan menggunakan instrumen Perfomance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI) dan Implicit Theories Of Intelligence Scale (ITIS). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa growth mindset tidak memiliki hubungan dengan fear of failure. Hasil uji korelasi menggunakan kendall’s Tau didapatkan nilai signifikansi > 0.05 yang memiliki arti tidak terdapat hubungan antara growth mindset terhadap fear of failure. ***** This study aims to examine the relationship between growth mindset and fear of failure in the context of job searching among fresh graduates. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 143 respondents aged 20–25 years who graduated between 2023 and 2025 and had not yet secured permanent employment. Data were collected through questionnaires using the Performance Failure Appraisal Inventory (PFAI) and the Implicit Theories of Intelligence Scale (ITIS). The results of the analysis indicate that there is no significant relationship between growth mindset and fear of failure. Correlational analysis using Kendall’s Tau yielded a significance value greater than 0.05, suggesting that no statistically significant relationship exists between growth mindset and fear of failure.
