Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Digital financial literacy dan Financial Socialization terhadap Saving Behavior melalui Self-Control pada Generasi Z di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik non-probability dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 200 responden terdiri dari Generasi Z di DKI Jakarta yang menggunakan platform keuangan digital. Dalam menganalisis data dengan SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square) menggunakan software SmartPLS 4.0 untuk menguji 7 hipotesis pada penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini bahwa Digital financial literacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Saving Behavior, Financial Socialization berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Saving Behavior, Self-Control berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap Saving Behavior. Digital financial literacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Saving Behavior melalui Self-Control, dan juga Financial Socialization berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Saving Behavior melalui Self-Control dan juga Financial Socialization berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Saving Behavior melalui Self-Control Gen Z di DKI Jakarta.***** This study aims to investigate and analyze how Digital financial literacy and Financial Socialization affect Saving Behavior, with Self-Control acting as an intervening variable, among Generation Z residing in DKI Jakarta. Adopting a quantitative research approach, this study utilized a survey method, employing a non-probability technique with purposive sampling to collect data from 200 Generation Z respondents in DKI Jakarta who are users of digital financial platforms. For data analysis, SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square) was applied using SmartPLS 4.0 software to test the seven hypotheses formulated for this research. The findings indicate that Digital financial literacy significantly and positively influences Saving Behavior, and similarly, Financial Socialization also exerts a positive and significant influence on Saving Behavior. Furthermore, Self-Control was found to have a significant and positive effect on Saving Behavior. Importantly, the study reveals that Digital financial literacy positively and significantly influences Saving Behavior through Self-Control, and likewise, Financial Socialization also demonstrates a positive and significant influence on Saving Behavior through Self-Control among Gen Z in DKI Jakarta.
