Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji pengaruh grit terhadap kesiapan kerja pada fresh graduate generasi Z di DKI Jakarta. Metode yang diterapkan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 200 responden, yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah The Work Readiness Scale (WRS) yang dikembangkan oleh Caballero et al. (2011) untuk mengukur kesiapan kerja, serta Grit Scale (Grit-O) dari Duckworth et al. (2007), yang telah diadaptasi oleh Umam (2024). Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan melalui analisis regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa grit berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja pada fresh graduate generasi Z di DKI Jakarta, dengan kontribusi sebesar 5,4%. ***** This study aims to investigate the effect of grit on work readiness among fresh graduates of Generation Z in DKI Jakarta. A quantitative research method was employed, involving 200 participants selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used in this study were the Work Readiness Scale (WRS) developed by Caballero et al. (2011) to measure work readiness, and the Grit Scale (Grit-O) by Duckworth et al. (2007), adapted by Umam (2024). The hypothesis was tested using simple linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that grit has a significant effect on work readiness among fresh graduates of Generation Z in DKI Jakarta, accounting for 5.4% of the variance.
