Abstract

ABSTRAK ANGGUN SUNARI. Intensitas dan Prevalensi Ektoparasit Monogenea pada Kolam Budidaya Ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) Dibimbing oleh drh. Atin Supiyani, M.Si dan Dr. Yulia Irnidayanti, M.Si. Infeksi parasit yang menyerang ikan nila pada kolam budidaya dapat berasal dari ektoparasit monogenea. Ikan yang terinfeksi monogenea yang berada di dalam kolam budidaya akan mengakibatkan penurunan produktivitas dan kematian ikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui intensitas dan prevalensi ektoparasit monogenea pada ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus) pada kolam budidaya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai bulan Juni 2019 di Laboratorium Fisiologi Hewan, FMIPA Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Parameter kualitas air yang diukur meliputi suhu, derajat keasaman (pH), turbiditas, salinitas, dan oksigen terlarut (DO). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif. Data kualitas air dan Specific Growth Rate (SGR) dianalisis secara secara deskriptif menggunakan software SPSS seri 20.0. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh genus monogenea yang menginfeksi ikan nila yaitu Cichlidogyrus sp. yang ditemukan pada bagian insang dan sirip. Nilai prevalensi Cichlidogyrus sp. tertinggi pada H45 sebesar 66,67% sedangkan terendah pada H28 sebesar 0% dan nilai intensitas Cichlidogyrus sp. tertinggi pada H45 sebesar 1.5 individu/ekor sedangkan terendah pada H28 sebesar 0 individu/ekor selama masa penelitian. Semakin baik kualitas air maka semakin jarang dan rendah prevalensi dan intensitas monogenea yang menginfeksi ikan nila dan berpengaruh pada bobot ikan nila selama 45 hari masa penelitian. Atin Supiyani, M.Si and Dr. Yulia Irnidayanti, M.Si. Parasitic infections that attack tilapia in ponds can originate from monogenea ectoparasites. Monogenea infected fish in ponds will result in decreased productivity and fish mortality. The purpose of this study was to determine intensity and prevalence monogenea of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) aquaculture. This research was conducted from April to June 2019 at the Animal Physiology Laboratory, FMIPA, Jakarta State University. Water quality parameters measured include temperature, degree of acidity (pH), turbidity, salinity, and dissolved oxygen (DO). The method used in this research is descriptive method. Water quality data and Specific Growth Rate (SGR) were analyzed descriptively using SPSS 20.0 series software. The results of the study obtained by the genus monogenea that infects tilapia, namely Cichlidogyrus sp. found on the gills and fins. The prevalence value of Cichlidogyrus sp. the highest at H45 was 66.67% while the lowest was at H28 at 0% and the intensity value of Cichlidogyrus sp. the highest at H45 was 1.5 individuals / head while the lowest at H28 was at 0 individuals / head during the study period. The better water quality, the rarer and lower the prevalence and intensity of monogene that infects tilapia and affects the weight of tilapia for 45 days of the study period.
