Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola komunikasi digital di Divisi Institutional Business PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Di era digital saat ini, komunikasi yang efektif sangat penting untuk mendukung kelancaran operasional serta membangun hubungan antara pihak internal dan eksternal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam dengan karyawan di divisi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa divisi ini memanfaatkan berbagai platform komunikasi digital seperti WhatsApp, email, Zoom, dan Microsoft Teams untuk komunikasi formal maupun informal. Komunikasi digital di Divisi Institutional Business PT Bank BRI mempermudah koordinasi, mempercepat kerja, dan mendukung kolaborasi meski berbeda lokasi. Namun, ditemukan beberapa tantangan, termasuk miskomunikasi, kelebihan informasi, dan kendala teknis seperti kualitas sinyal yang tidak stabil. Miskomunikasi sering terjadi karena terbatasnya ekspresi non-verbal dalam komunikasi berbasis teks. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa komunikasi digital memfasilitasi koordinasi antar tim dan mempercepat pengambilan keputusan. Namun, tantangan seperti kesulitan memahami konteks pesan dan kelebihan informasi perlu diatasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar perusahaan meningkatkan literasi digital dan mengoptimalkan platform komunikasi guna mendukung efektivitas komunikasi digital di dalam organisasi. Selain itu, pelatihan berkala dan evaluasi internal sangat penting untuk memastikan bahwa alat komunikasi digunakan secara konsisten dan efektif di seluruh tim dan tingkatan organisasi. ***** This study aims to analyze the digital communication patterns in the Institutional Business Division of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. In today’s digital era, effective communication is crucial to support smooth operations and relationships between internal and external parties. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with employees in the division. The results show that the division utilizes various digital communication platforms such as WhatsApp, email, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, for both formal and informal communication. Digital communication in the Institutional Business Division of PT Bank BRI facilitates coordination, speeds up work processes, and supports collaboration despite different locations. However, several challenges were identified, including miscommunication, information overload, and technical issues such as unstable signal quality. Miscommunication often occurs due to the limited non-verbal expression in text-based communication. The study also found that digital communication facilitates coordination among teams and speeds up decision-making. However, challenges such as difficulty in understanding the context of messages and information overload need to be addressed to enhance communication effectiveness. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the company enhance digital literacy and optimize communication platforms to support digital communication effectiveness within the organization. Additionally, periodic training and internal evaluations are essential to ensure that communication tools are used consistently and effectively across all teams and levels of the organization.
