Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan perilaku asertif antara suku Batak dan Jawa dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 224 responden, yang terdiri dari 105 individu dari suku Batak dan 119 individu dari suku Jawa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling¸ dengan instrumen Simple Rathus Assertiveness Schedule - Short Form (SRAS-SF) yang terdiri dari 19 item untuk mengukur perilaku asertif. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Sample t- Test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya perbandingan perilaku asertif antara suku Batak dan Jawa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,392 (p>0,05). ***** This study aims to examine the differences in assertive behavior between the Batak and Javanese ethnic groups using a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 224 respondents, including 105 individuals from the Batak ethnic group and 119 individuals from the Javanese ethnic group. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and assertive behavior was measured using the Simple Rathus Assertiveness Schedule – Short Form (SRAS-SF), which consists of 19 items. The collected data were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-Test. The results showed no significant difference in assertive behavior between the Batak and Javanese groups, with a significance value of 0.392 (p > 0.05).
