Abstract

Kepuasan dalam hubungan romantis merupakan aspek penting yang mendukung kestabilan dan kualitas hubungan, terutama pada individu yang berada dalam fase emerging adulthood. Namun demikian, dinamika hubungan pada masa ini sering kali diwarnai ketidakpastian dan emosi negatif yang dapat menurunkan kepuasan hubungan.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepercayaan terhadap kepuasan hubungan romantis pada emerging adulthood yang menjalin hubungan pacaran. Kepercayaan dalam hubungan romantis terdiri dari tiga dimensi utama, yaitu predictability, dependability, dan faith. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan 250 responden berusia 18-25 tahun (emerging adulthood) yang sedang menjalin hubungan pacaran minimal 6 bulan dan berdomisili di Jabodetabek. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner menggunakan instrument Trust in Close Relationship Scale dan Relationship Assesment Scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan hubungan romantic dengan kontribusi sebesar 46,4%. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya membangun dan mempertahankan kepercayaan, sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas hubungan romantis pada masa emerging adulthood. However, relationship dynamics during this period are often marked by uncertainty and negative emotions, which may decrease relationship satisfaction. This study aims to examine the influence of trust on romantic relationship satisfaction among emerging adults who are in dating relationships. Trust in romantic relationships consists of three main dimensions: predictability, dependability, and faith. This study employed a quantitative method involving 250 respondents aged 18–25 years (emerging adulthood) who were currently in a dating relationship for at least six months and residing in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). Data were collected through questionnaires using the Trust in Close Relationships Scale and the Relationship Assessment Scale. The results showed that trust significantly influenced romantic relationship satisfaction, with a contribution of 46.4%. These findings highlight the importance of building and maintaining trust as an effort to enhance the quality of romantic relationships during emerging adulthood.
