Abstract
ZAHRA ADLIN. Pengaruh Strategi PQ4R Berbantuan LKPD Terstruktur terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis Siswa di SMP Negeri 19 Jakarta. Skripsi, Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Juli 2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah strategi PQ4R berbantuan LKPD terstruktur berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMP Negeri 19 Jakarta. Metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian posttest-only control group adalah metodologi penelitian yang digunakan. Cluster random sampling digunakan sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian. Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa diukur menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa empat butir soal uraian materi kesebangunan yang telah teruji valid dan reliabel. Data hasil penelitian telah memenuhi uji prasyarat analisis yang meliputi uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian menggunakan uji-t, diperoleh nilai p-value sebesar 0,001 yang lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 0,05. Dengan demikian, data yang diperoleh sudah cukup sebagai bukti untuk menolak H_0, artinya nilai rata-rata hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh strategi PQ4R berbantuan LKPD terstruktur terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMP Negeri 19 Jakarta. Berdasarkan perhitungan Cohen’s Effect Size, besar pengaruh penerapan strategi PQ4R berbantuan LKPD terstruktur adalah 82%. Dengan demikian, penerapan strategi PQ4R berbantuan LKPD terstruktur termasuk dalam kategori besar (large effect). July 2025 This research aims to determine whether the PQ4R strategy assisted by structured student worksheets has an effect on the mathematical critical thinking skills of students at SMP Negeri 19 Jakarta. A quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design was employed as the research methodology. Cluster random sampling was used as the sampling technique. Students' mathematical critical thinking skills were measured using a research instrument consisting of four essay questions on the topic of similarity, which had been validated and proven reliable. The research data met the assumptions for analysis, including tests for normality and homogeneity. Based on the results of the t-test, a p-value of 0,001 was obtained, which is less than the significance level of 0,05. Thus, the data provide sufficient evidence to reject the null hypothesis (H₀), indicating that the average score of students' mathematical critical thinking skills in the experimental class is higher than that of the control class. These findings indicate that the PQ4R strategy assisted by structured student worksheets has an effect on the mathematical critical thinking skills of students at SMP Negeri 19 Jakarta. Based on Cohen’s Effect Size calculation, the magnitude of the effect of applying the PQ4R strategy assisted by structured student worksheets is 82%. Therefore, the implementation of the PQ4R strategy assisted by structured student worksheets falls into the large effect category.
