Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-esteem terhadap academic burnout pada mahasiswa kedokteran di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan tipe kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 255 responden mahasiswa kedokteran yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Kuesioner menjadi alat yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Metode analisis utama yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linear sederhana. Instrumen dalam pengambilan data menggunakan alat ukur Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) dan Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) yang tela dilakukan adaptasi sesuai dengan konteks penelitian. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif antara self-esteem terhadap academic burnout mahasiswa kedokteran. Kontribusi pengaruh yang diberikan dari variabel self-esteem sebesar 66.8%. *****The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of self-esteem on academic burnout among medical students in Indonesia. This research is quantitative type. The sample consisted of 255 medical students selected using purposive sampling techniques. A questionnaire was used as the primary tool for data collection. The main analysis method employed was simple linear regression. The instruments usefor data collection were the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), both of which were adapted to suit the context of this study demonstrated that self-esteem has a negative effect on academic burnout among medical students. The contribution of self-esteem to academic burnout was found to be 66.8%.
