Abstract

PUSPITA DEWI LESTARI PENGARUH FATHER PRESENCE TERHADAP PREFERENSI PEMILIHAN PASANGAN PEREMPUAN DEWASA AWAL DI JAKARTA SKRIPSI Jakarta: Program Studi Psikologi, Fakultas Psikologi, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2025 ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui father presence terhadap preferensi pemilihan pasangan pada perempuan dewasa awal di Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode analisis regresi linear. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner berisi instrumen Nine Mate Selection Question untuk mengukur preferensi pemilihan pasangan hidup dan Father Presence Questionnaire untuk mengukur kehadiran ayah yang aktif berperan dalam kehidupan anaknya. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 responden perempuan yang berdomisili di Jakarta, belum menikah, dan tinggal bersama ayah kandung. Adapun teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Hasil analisis korelasi dengan Pearson Correlation menggunakan SPSS versi 25 menunjukkan nilai p > 0.05 yang berarti tidak adanya hubungan korelasi secara statistik father presence terhadap preferensi pemilihan pasangan pada perempuan dewasa awal di Jakarta dan menunjukkan tidak adanya pengaruh antar variabel. Hal ini berarti hipotesis terdapat pengaruh antara variabel father presence terhadap preferensi pemilihan pasangan pada perempuan dewasa awal di Jakarta tidak diterima. Kata kunci: father presence, preferensi pemilihan pasangan, perempuan, dewasa awal ***** PUSPITA DEWI LESTARI EFFECT OF FATHER PRESENCE ON MATE PREFERENCE IN EARLY ADULT WOWEN IN JAKARTA Undergraduate Thesis Jakarta: Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Psychology, State University of Jakarta, 2025 ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the father presence on the preference of mate selection in early adult women in Jakarta. This research is a quantitative research with linear regression analysis method. Data collection in this study was collected by using a questionnaire containing nine Mate Selecton question instrument to measure the preference of choosing a life partner and Father Presence Questionnaire to measure the attendance father who actively plays a role in the lives of his children. The sample in this study amounted to 100 female respondents who are domiciled in Jakarta, are not married, and live with a biological father. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. The results of correlation analysis with Pearson Correlation using SPSS version 25 showed a value of p > 0.05 which means that there is no correlation relationship statistically father presence to mate selection preferences in early adult women in Jakarta and showed no influence between variables. This means that the hypothesis that there is an influence between father presence variables on partner selection preferences in early adult women in Jakarta is not accepted.
