Abstract
***** This study aims to examine the influence of career self-efficacy and career adaptability on work readiness among final-year university students. The research method used is quantitative with a multiple linear regression analysis model. Data collection techniques involved the use of instruments including the Work Readiness Scale constructed by the researcher based on the theory of Caballero et al. (2011), the Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy – Short Form (CDMSE-SF) by Taylor & Betz (1996), and the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale – Short Form (CAAS-SF) by Savickas & Maggiori (2015). The researcher employed a non-probability purposive sampling technique, selecting participants who were active final-year students in at least their sixth semester and currently working on or having recently completed their thesis/final project. Data were collected through questionnaires from a total of 301 final-year students. The results showed that, simultaneously, career self-efficacy and career adaptability have a significant and positive effect on students' work readiness by 55.4%. Partially, career self-efficacy contributes 35.87% and career adaptability contributes 19.87%. This study is expected to help students realize the importance of self-confidence and adaptability in preparing themselves for the transition to the workforce.
