Abstract
***** Duck syndrome is a phenomenon that is prone to be experienced by emerging adulthood and can have fatal impacts on individuals who experience it. The instruments used in the study were Perfectionistic Self-Presentation Scale and World Health Organization Adverse Childhood Experiences—International Questionnaire in Indonesian language. The result of this study using simple linear regression are sig. (p-value) 0,001 < 0,05, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, implying that there is a significant influence of adverse childhood experiences on perfectionistic self-presentation in emerging adulthood.
