Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif self-disclosure terhadap relationship satisfaction pada dewasa awal yang sedang menjalani hubungan romantis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 314 responden dengan rentang usia 18–40 tahun dengan durasi hubungan romantis minimal 6 bulan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Revised Self-disclosure Scale (RSDS) oleh Wheeless (1978) dan Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) oleh Hendrick (1988). Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif self-disclosure terhadap relationship satisfaction pada dewasa awal yang sedang menjalani hubungan romantis yang signifikan (p<0,05). Nilai R square menunjukkan bahwa self-disclosure memberikan kontribusi sebesar 15,4% dalam memengaruhi relationship satisfication.****This study aims to determine whether there is a positive influence of self-disclosure on relationship satisfaction in young adults who are in a romantic relationship. This study uses a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique. The sample used in this study was 314 respondents aged 18–40 years with a minimum romantic relationship duration of 6 months. The instruments used were the Revised Self-disclosure Scale (RSDS) by Wheeless (1978) and the Relationship Assessment Scale (RAS) by Hendrick (1988). The hypothesis test used was multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence of self-disclosure on relationship satisfaction in young adults who are in a romantic relationship which is significant (p <0.05). The R square value shows that self-disclosure contributes 15.4% in influencing relationship satisfaction.
